Nigeria beats Burkina and win the Africa Cup

Sunday Mba scored in the 40th minute for the “Super Eagles” at Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg. He chipped the ball over Mohamed Koffi before volleying it past goalkeeper Daouda Diakite.
Nigeria previously won the competition in 1980 and 1994. Burkina Faso had never won the tournament.
The result means Nigeria’s Stephen Keshi has won the event as both player and coach, equaling the achievement of Egypt’s Mahmoud El Gohary.
