Burkina Faso to hold presidential vote Nov 21

Burkina Faso will hold a presidential election on November 21 this year, the West African country’s government said on state television on Thursday.

President Blaise Compaore, who has been in power since a 1987 coup d’etat, was last elected for a five-year term in 2005.
